After leaking out for a couple of months, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite has finally been officially revealed.
Samsung has quietly added the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite to its Indonesian website, confirming its existence and its specs. The tablet features a metal unibody design and an included S Pen stylus. There's also a magnetic holder on the Tab S6 Lite for that S Pen so you don't have to worry about carrying it separately or misplacing it.
The display on the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite is a 10.4-inch 2000x1200 LCD screen with a 5MP camera above it and an 8MP cam around back for your video calling needs. There are dual speakers for watching videos out loud as well as a 3.5mm headphone jack for those times that you need to keep your audio to yourself.
Packed inside the Tab S6 Lite's metal unibody shell is an octa-core processor (rumors say an Exynos 9611), 4GB of RAM, and a 7040mAh battery. Samsung has included 64GB of storage and there's a microSD card slot that'll let you add up to 1TB of additional storage if you need it.
Samsung isn't sharing any pricing information for the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite yet, and it's not known when this tablet might become available in other parts of the globe. The high-end Galaxy Tab S6 starts at $649, so if Samsung can knock a couple hundred dollars off that price for the Tab S6 Lite, this could be an interesting option for folks who want a big screen tablet with a stylus but aren't looking to spend a fortune for it.
