Ting Mobile is a prepaid MVNO that operates on the networks of major U.S. carriers. And this week, it struck a deal with a third operator.

Ting now supports Verizon in addition to T-Mobile and Sprint. Ting didn't come out and specifically name Verizon as its newest partner because it can't due to its carrier agreements, but it did strongly, strongly hint that it's Verizon who it has struck a deal with.

"As of today, Ting Mobile offers service on every major mobile carrier except AT&T," said Michael Goldstein, Ting's Chief Revenue Officer. "This is a really satisfying accomplishment and an amazing step."

When you sign up for Ting Mobile, the company's systems will determine which network is used for your service based on factors like which network offers the best coverage where you are, which network your phone is compatible with, and which network you're currently active on.

If you have a specific network that you'd like to be on, you can talk with a Ting customer support rep to request it and they'll try to get you onto that network if possible.

Ting's pricing starts at $6 per line. From there you select how many minutes, texts, and data you need each month. For example, 101-1000 texts are $5 per month while 1001-2000 texts are $8, and 101-500MB is $10 per month and 501MB-1GB is $16 per month. Your bill could then change based on what you actually use.
