One week ago, we got our first look at a mysterious Motorola phone that we didn't know much of anything about except that it includes a stylus. Now we know just about everything there is to know about the device.
The Moto G Stylus has leaked again, appearing in hands-on photos with its stylus in tow. The images from Xataka also give us a clear look at the Moto G Stylus's triple rear camera setup, which is rumored to include a 48MP f/1.7 main sensor, 2MP f/2.2 macro camera, and a 16MP wide angle cam with 117-degree field of view and "Action Cam" feature that'll let you take horizontal wide angle videos while you're holding the phone vertically.
A new render of the bottom of the Moto G Stylus shows that it'll have a 3.5mm headphone jack and a USB-C port for charging. We can also see that the phone's stylus will slot into the bottom of the device when not in use.
Finally, the folks at XDA-Developers have spilled the full spec list of the Moto G Stylus. The display will be a 6.36-inch 2300x1080 panel with a hole-punch where its 25MP selfie camera will live. Around back there will be a fingerprint sensor built into the Motorola logo.
Inside the phone will be a Snapdragon 665 processor paired with 4GB of RAM, 64GB/128GB of storage, and a 4000mAh battery. NFC and dual SIM slots will reportedly be included in some regions as well.
On the software side, it's expected that the Moto G Stylus will include Android 10. Motorola is also reportedly cooking up a few software features based around the stylus, like letting you launch an app or shortcut when you pull out the stylus and a Moto Note app.
It's not yet known when the Moto G Stylus will launch or how much it'll cost, but Motorola could make an announcement at MWC later this month.
There aren't a ton of smartphones out there that come with a stylus, with Samsung's flagship Galaxy Note series and LG's Stylo phones being pretty much the only ones. Because of that, it's great to see Motorola making its first stylus-equipped phone and bringing another option to market for folks who like using a stylus with their smartphone.
