The Samsung Galaxy S10 series phones began getting Android 10 at the start of this week, and now the week is wrapping up with Android 10 updates for the Galaxy Note 10 devices.
Verizon is now updating its Galaxy Note 10, Note 10+, and Note 10+ 5G with Android 10. The folks at Droid-Life spotted the update rolling out this morning, and several Note 10 owners on Reddit are also reporting that they're getting the bump to Android 10, so it looks like this rollout is indeed a full go.
There's no full changelog available for the updates quite yet. If the Note 10's Android 10 update is anything like the S10's, and it probably is, then Galaxy Note 10 owners can expect improvements like enhanced image, text, and color adjustments for dark mode in day and night environments and clearer app icons and system colors with Samsung's One UI 2.0.
Samsung is also adding new full screen navigation gestures with this update as well as refined interactions that should make it easier to navigate on large screens with less finger movement. Digital Wellbeing is getting better with features like Focus Mode, which lets you silence distracting apps when you need to focus, and the Device Care feature is getting better by showing you more detailed information in the battery usage graph.
If you've got a Verizon Galaxy Note 10, Note 10+, or Note 10+ 5G, you should see this update hit your phone in the coming days. You can also check for it manually by going into the Settings app on your phone and selecting "About phone" followed by "Software updates" and then "Check for updates".
There's no word yet on Android 10 hitting the Galaxy Note 10 models on other U.S. carriers. Now that we've seen one U.S. carrier update its Note 10 to Android 10, though, the others shouldn't be too far behind.
