Today's the day that Google Stadia launches to the public, and to celebrate Google has introduced an accessory for Stadia players.
The Power Support CLAW clips onto the Stadia controller and lets you clip your phone into it so that it's floating above the controller. This lets you play games with having to find somewhere to prop your phone up. Google says that the CLAW holds your phone in a "comfortable and balanced position."
The clip itself is made of matte polycarbonate. Google says that it's compatible with Pixel 3, 3a, 3 XL, 3a XL, 4, and 4 XL models. Because it's just a clip that you place your phone into, though, you should be able to use other devices with the CLAW when they're supported with Stadia.
The CLAW is priced at $14.99 and is currently listed as "Coming soon" on the Google Store. There's no word on exactly when it'll become available, but now that it's got its own product page, it may not be long before you're able to buy one.
Controller clips for smartphones aren't a new idea, but this CLAW is made specifically for the Stadia controller and so it could make for a nice accessory for Stadia users who play a lot of games on their phone.
