One day after Google Stadia launched, a new report claims that another major tech company is planning a game streaming service.

Amazon is reportedly prepping to launch its own game streaming service in 2020. According to CNET sources, Amazon is working to recruit people from gaming companies like Microsoft to help with its service and is also adding jobs for a "new initiative" in the Amazon Web Services team that are though to be involved with the new gaming service.

Another Amazon job listing said that it intends to integrate this mysterious new initiative with Twitch and other Amazon services.

With Microsoft's Project xCloud and Google Stadia, there's been a lot of interest in cloud gaming lately. And so with Amazon's big presence in cloud services, it's definitely possible that it could be interested in dipping its own toes into the cloud gaming waters. It could even consider adding some sort of gaming service to its package of Amazon Prime offerings.
