It can be pretty exciting when a new phone that you ordered lands on your doorstep, but some lucky Pixel 4 buyers are getting an extra surprise with their new device.
Google is shipping a special Pixel 4 cereal box to some folks who pre-ordered the new Pixel flagship (via Reddit, Twitter). There are 2,000 lucky Pixel 4 pre-order customers in the U.K. who are getting the cereal box, which is stylized to look like a classic kids cereal brand and even has "Nutrition Facts" — aka specifications — on the side of the box.

Digging into the box, there's the Pixel 4 itself alongside a small bag of actual cereal, complete with some Google-branded pieces. "As one of the first to pre-order Pixel 4 from Google Store U.K., we thought we'd send you your Pixel in something a little different," says a slip inside the box.
Google also reminds these Pixel 4 pre-order folks that they're eligible for a free HP Chromebook 14 that they'll need to claim between 14 and 45 days from the date of their Pixel 4 purchase.
This is a nice little surprise for the lucky Pixel 4 pre-order customers who get a cereal box with their phone. Sure, it may not be an expensive accessory, but it's something fun and unexpected that will make a lot of people happy to be on #TeamPixel. Plus, these folks are eligible for a free HP Chromebook 14 with their Pixel 4 purchase, so they're already getting a nice freebie.
