Google Stadia is officially launching on November 19th, but not everyone who pre-ordered a kit will be able to play the moment that the gaming service goes live.
Google today said that it has sold out of its special Founders Edition bundle that includes a limited edition blue controller, a "Founder's badge", the ability to gift three months of service to a friend, and other bonuses. The company also confirmed to The Verge that it will ship Founder's Edition and Premiere Edition packages in the order they were received and that not all orders will arrive on November 19th.
That's a wrap! Stadia Founder’s Edition has completely sold out. We can’t wait to welcome all of our Founders to play Stadia on November 19.

Indeed, Google said last week that Founder's Edition packages will "start arriving" on November 19th. "If you were one of the first gamers who pre-ordered and have received your Founder's Editions, you'll be able to buy and play your favorite games beginning at 9AM PST/5PM BST/6PM CET on November 19," Google explains.
What's more, Google says that Premiere Edition packages won't have shipped by November 19th. The good news is that Google does expect orders of both the Founder's Edition and Premiere Edition packages to be delivered within the first two weeks of launch, so most buyers shouldn't have to wait too long after Stadia's launch to jump in.
The Premiere Edition is the package that has replaced the Founder's Edition now that it's sold out. For $129, buyers of the Premiere Edition get a Clearly White controller, a Chromecast Ultra, three months of Stadia Pro, and Destiny 2: The Collection.
It's understandable that some Founder's Edition pre-order customers may not be able to use Stadia right when it goes live on November 19th. After all, these folks took the plunge and paid good money to pre-order a package for a service that hasn't launched yet. Hopefully Google is able to quickly ship out Founder's Edition and Premiere Edition packages as quickly as they anticipate that they will.
