AT&T and Spotify are teaming up to give the big blue carrier's subscribers some free music.
Starting tomorrow, August 6, AT&T customers on the Unlimited &More Premium plan will be able to get a free Spotify Premium subscription. It'll be available as one of the seven free premium entertainment options available to Unlimited &More Premium customers, which also include HBO, Cinemax, Showtime, Starz, VRV, and Pandora Premium.
Unlimited &More Premium is AT&T's top-end plan that includes unlimited talk, text, and data, 1080p HD video streaming, 15GB of high-speed hotspot usage, and more than 35 channels of live TV. It also offers unlimited texts from the U.S. to more than 120 countries and unlimited talk, text, and data in Mexico and Canada. Pricing starts at $80 for a single line and can be had for as low as $48 per line with four lines.
Select customers not on an Unlimited &More Plan will be offered a free 6-month trial of Spotify Premium, but AT&T doesn't say how customers can qualify for that offer.
