After announcing auto-delete controls for your location data last month, Google is now rolling those tools out to Android and iOS users.
Google says that you can now set up auto-delete for your Location History on Android and iOS devices. With these controls, you can have Google automatically delete your saved activity data every 3 or 18 months. Any data older than that will be automatically deleted from your account on a regular basis.
You also have the option of manually deleting your activity data whenever you'd like.
There's been a major focus on user privacy in mobile lately, and Google's auto-delete tools help to give users a little more control over the data that Google stores about them.
