With tens of millions of songs available, deciding what you want to listen to on Spotify can be a challenge sometimes. Spotify's new app aims to help you with that.
Spotify Stations is a new app that's now available on Android and iOS. With it, you can scroll through a list of radio stations like Country Hits, Workout, 80s Hits, Peaceful Piano, and 90s Hip-Hop and begin playing music with one tap. You can also create your own stations based on artists that you know you like and then tune those stations by adding or removing bands.
As you use the Spotify Stations app, it'll learn what you like and create new stations for you to listen to based on music that it thinks you'll enjoy.
This concept isn't entirely new, as Pandora made its name years ago offering radio stations that you could tune and personalize to your liking. Some folks may prefer the look of Spotify's app or its recommendations, though, and now those people have a radio app from Spotify for those times that they want some music but don't want to choose what to play from Spotify's large catalog.
