More evidence of the upcoming Motorola Razr foldable has leaked.
A device named Motorola Razr recently received Bluetooth certification with its appearance in the Bluetooth Launch Studio. As spotted by MySmartPrice, the phone carried the model number XT2000-1 along with the description "motorola razr mobile phone for VZW carrier".
There's not much new info here, but it does add some support to previous rumors that claimed that Motorola is working on a new Razr phone with a foldable display for Verizon. Patent filings suggest that the phone will have a design similar to the popular RAZR flip phone, but with a foldable display on the inside rather than a small single screen and a physical T9 keyboard. Rumors have also suggested that the phone could cost around $1,500, which makes sense considering the pricing for the Samsung Galaxy Fold and Huawei Mate X.
Motorola has confirmed that it's working on a foldable phone, but spec details for this upcoming Motorola Razr foldable are still pretty light. The good news is that by earning Bluetooth certification, the device is one step closer to launch.
