Google Pay is adding a new trick to its arsenal.
You can now allow Google Pay to integrate things like loyalty cards, movie tickets, airline boarding passes, and more from Gmail. Once enabled, these passes will automatically appear in your Google Pay app.
To enable this feature, launch your Google Pay app and go into Settings > General > Gmail Imports. 9to5Google notes that the feature appears to be a server side update, which means that if you don't already have it, you'll have to wait for Google to enable it for you.
One thing to keep in mind is that deleting the email that this data originates from will delete the pass from Google Pay, so you'll need to keep messages out of the trash if you want to take advantage of this feature.
Do you use Google Pay? If so, has this feature appeared for you yet?
