Looks like Amazon isn't the only company crafting a pair of truly wireless earbuds to compete with Apple AirPods.
Microsoft is working on its own pair of Surface wireless earbuds. The 'buds are reportedly codenamed Morrison and could come to market as the Surface Buds, says Thurrott, but the official product name hasn't yet been confirmed.
Also still unconfirmed at these Microsoft earbuds' features. Integration with Microsoft's Cortana assistant and support for noise cancellation are possibilities, as is a way to improve interactions between the earbuds and the connected phone to make reading content on the phone easier.
Apple's AirPods have exposed many people to truly wireless earbuds for the first time and have become extremely popular in the process. Because of this, it's no surprise to hear that Microsoft is interested in getting a piece of that success by launching some wireless earbuds with its own special features. Plus, Microsoft recently released its own over-ear Surface headphones, so it makes sense that the company would compliment that model with a more portable pair of earbuds.
Do you use wireless headphones? If so, which model do you own?
