Days after we learned that the OnePlus 7 could ditch the notch and come with a pop-up front camera instead, a new device has been announced that fits that description perfectly.
The Oppo F11 Pro features a 6.53-inch 1080p display with a small chin and no forehead or notch. Since there's no bezel up top for the front-facing camera, Oppo stuck the 16MP selfie cam in a pop-up mechanism that rises from the top of the F11 Pro whenever you want to take a photo.
Around back is a dual camera setup with a 48MP main sensor and a 5MP secondary lens, and below that is a fingerprint reader. Oppo has also equipped the F11 Pro with a MediaTek Helio P70 processor, 4GB or 6GB of RAM, 64GB of storage, a 4000mAh battery and Oppo's VOOC 3.0 tech that'll help you recharge that battery in a hurry. Rounding things out is a 3.5mm headphone jack and a microUSB port.
The Oppo F11 Pro is available for pre-order in India at a price of Rs 24,990 ($354 USD).
While the Oppo F11 Pro has some notable aspects on its own, lots of folks will be interested in it because it could hint at the design of the OnePlus 7. Past Oppo phones have been used in OnePlus flagships, like how the Oppo F7 had the same notch as the OnePlus 6 and the Oppo F9 had a waterdrop notch like the OnePlus 6T. New renders recently leaked that allegedly showed the OnePlus 7 with no notch, a small chin, and a pop-up front-facing camera, and so it's possible that the final OP7 will look simlar to the front of this Oppo F11 Pro.
