One week after sending out iOS 12.1.1 beta 2, Apple has another beta release ready to go.
iOS 12.1.1 beta 3 is now available to registered developers. The update includes features like the ability to take a Live Photo during a FaceTime call and improvements to the FaceTime user interface, like quick access buttons for muting a call and flipping the camera. iOS 12.1.1 also allows iPhone XR owners to use Haptic Touch to expand notifications on the lock screen.
Other notable features of iOS 12.1.1 include the ability to turn off your phone's physical SIM in favor of the eSIM and an update to the Watch app icon to make it look like the Apple Watch Series 4.
Apple hasn't said when it might release iOS 12.1.1 to the public.
Also released today is watchOS 5.1.2 beta 2. This update includes new complications for the Infograph watch faces, including Mail, Messages, Maps, Apple News, and Phone. Also included in the update is a new toggle in Control Center for toggling the Walkie-Talkie feature on and off.
