OnePlus's flagship phones have always been on the larger side of things, offering screens that are 5.5 inches or larger. The one outlier is the OnePlus X that launched in 2015 with a 5-inch display. Unfortunately for fans of phones with smaller screens, a OnePlus X follow-up isn't in the works.
Rumors of a OnePlus X2 have been circulating this week, but OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei took to Twitter today to shoot those rumors down. "Nope", Pei said in response to a rumor he saw online.

We never saw these rumors of a OnePlus X2 gain traction, so hopefully no one got their hopes up for such a device. Still, fans of smaller phones are sure to be disappointed by this news, because it can be tough to find a good, well-specced smartphone that also has a smaller display nowadays.
Would you be interested in a OnePlus X2 if one did come to market?
