It can be difficult to buy a phone online without actually trying it out in person first, especially when you’re going to be spending hundreds of dollars on a flagship device. Luckily for folks interested in Google’s Pixel 2, that’s not going to be the case.
Verizon has announced that you can get a hands-on preview of the Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL in Verizon stores starting today, October 12th. That means that you can give Google’s new flagship phones a try one week before they launch.
Verizon is the exclusive carrier partner for the new Pixel phones, so it makes sense that they’d have demo units in stores. Still, it’s nice that consumers can visit a Verizon store and try a working Pixel 2 before dropped $649 or more on a device.
