That didn’t take long.
Hours after Verizon’s Ellipsis 8 HD tablet leaked out, the new Android device has been made official. You can now buy the Ellipsis 8 HD from Verizon’s website or in its stores for $0 down and 24 payments of $10.41 each. You can also pay $99.99 with a two-year contract or $249.99 with no commitment.
The Ellipsis 8 HD runs Android 6.0.1 on an 8-inch 1920x1200 display. It’s powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 617 processor and includes 3GB of RAM, 16GB of storage, a microSD slot for adding more storage, and a 5,100mAh battery. There’s also an 8-megapixel camera on the Ellipsis 8 HD’s rear and a 5-megapixel camera on its front.
Verizon’s new Ellipsis 8 HD isn’t the most high-end tablet around, but it’s got a decent set of specs and an affordable price tag for a tablet with built-in 4G LTE connectivity. So if you’re in the market for a new tablet that can get you online while you’re out and about and won’t put a huge dent in your wallet, the Ellipsis 8 HD may be worth a look.
