For a couple of years now, Verizon has sold its own family of Android tablets under the Ellipsis name. Now it looks like that Ellipsis family will soon gain a new member.
Images that show the Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD have made their way online. Shared by Evan Blass, the renders give us a look at the front, back, and sides of the Ellipsis 8 HD in both Midnight Blue and Arctic Gray color options.

There aren’t any spec details for the Ellipsis 8 HD quite yet, but we can see that the device has front and rear cameras as well as 4G LTE connectivity.
Past Ellipsis devices have teetered between the low-end and mid-range, and so it’s possible that this Ellipsis 8 HD will be do the same. Based on these leaked images, the Ellipsis 8 HD won’t be the best-looking Android tablet on the market, but it could be an affordable way to get a cellular-enabled tablet on Verizon’s network.
