iPhone 7 owners, the time to update is here again.
Apple is now pushing iOS 10.0.3 to the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. If you’ve got a different iPhone model, this update doesn’t apply to you. According to Apple, this update “fixes bugs including an issue where some users could temporarily lose cellular connectivity.” To update, go into Settings > General > Software Update on your iPhone.
Following the launch of the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus last month, some Verizon customers began having issues with their new phones that’d result in a loss of LTE connectivity. iPhone 7 owners on other carriers later determined that they were being affected by the bug, too. With today’s update, those cellular connectivity problems should be taken care of.
Apple is also prepping an iOS 10.1 update. Beta versions of iOS 10.1 have been going out to testers in recent weeks, but it’s unclear when that update will be released to the public.
