Hours after Apple released a new software update to iPhone 7 owners, it’s released a beta update, too.
iOS 10.1 beta 4 is now rolling out to registered developers. The update is also available to public testers in the Apple Beta Software Program. If you’re a dev or public tester, you can get iOS 10.1 beta 4 by going into Settings > General > Software Update.
Because the update was just released, it’s unclear exactly what’s inside iOS 10.1 beta 4. The update is likely focused on bug fixes and performance improvements, though, as Apple continues to work on iOS 10.1 and make sure that it’s ready for public consumption.
The major feature of iOS 10.1 is Portrait Mode for the iPhone 7 Plus, a feature that’ll easily let you add a background blur to your photos. The update will also likely squash bugs and fix other issues that’ve been discovered since iOS 10’s public release in September.
