Much of the focus in mobile nowadays is on smartphones, but there are still some new feature phones coming out that are worth a look, including the Nokia 216.
The Nokia 216 is a new feature phone from Microsoft with a 2.4-inch 320x240 display and Series 30+ software, and you can download apps and games from the Opera Mobile Store. There are 0.3-megapixel cameras on bot the front and rear of the Nokia 216, and both of ‘em have flashes.
When it comes to storage, the Nokia 216 accepts microSD cards up to 32GB in size. Also included is 16MB of RAM, a 3.5mm headphone jack, 2G connectivity, and a removable 1020mAh battery.
The Nokia 216 is launching in India in October for the equivalent of around $37.
While the Nokia 216 isn’t likely to replace the smartphone that most consumers have in their pockets, it looks like a nice device for anyone interested in a feature phone. It’s got a lot of basic features that you’d expect from a feature phone, including an FM radio, and an attractive design, all for a pretty affordable price.
