LG has a habit of dropping multiple teasers for its new flagship phones ahead of their official reveals, and the V20 is no different.
LG has partnered with B&O Play to build “best-in-class audio functions” into the V20. Specifically, LG says that acoustic engineers worked together to get a natural and balanced sound into the V20.
The partnership between LG and B&O Play doesn’t stop at the V20’s audio output. LG is also including a pair of B&O Play earphones with the V20 as well as special wallpapers, including the official logo of B&O Play.
This isn’t the first time that LG has boasted about the upcoming V20’s audio prowess. The V20 will come with a 32-bit Hi-Fi Quad DAC (digital to analog converter), and LG says will make it the first smartphone to have that feature. Now we know that LG is working with B&O Play to tune the V20’s audio and that the V20 will include B&O Play earphones, which should be a bit better than the earbuds that come bundled with most other smartphones.
The LG V20 will be officially revealed on Sept. 6.
