Just days after pushing iOS 10 beta 6, Apple today started rolling out another iOS 10 beta update.
Apple today released iOS 10 beta 7 to registered developers and iOS 10 Public Beta 6 to public testers. If you fall into either of those two groups, you can grab your test device and go into Settings > General > Software Update to grab yourself some fresh software.
As with the last beta update or two, today’s updates are likely focused on squashing bugs and improving performance rather than adding new features. Apple is rumored to be launching new iPhone hardware in mid-September, and if that’s the case, we’ll likely see iOS 10 launch to the public around the same time. So with these recent beta updates, Apple is fine-tuning iOS 10 to ensure that it’s ready for the general public.
