It was almost exactly one month ago that we learned that the HTC Desire 530 would be launching on Verizon. At the time, there was no word on when Verizon would begin offering the micro splash Android phone, but now all of the availability details have been revealed.
Verizon is now selling the HTC Desire 530 in Blue Lagoon online ahead of in-store availability on August 11. Pricing is set at $6 per month for 24 months, or $144 full price. For a limited time, though customers that activate a new line can get the 530 for $2 per month for 24 months, or $48 full price. Verizon’s got a deal for existing customers, too, offering the 530 for $94 full price when you upgrade to the 530 online.
The Desire 530 is available to Verizon prepaid customers, too. They can get the 530 in Sparkle White for $99.99.
As a refresher, the Desire 530 runs Android 6.0 on a 5-inch 1280x720 display. It’s got 16GB of storage, a microSD slot, 1.5GB of RAM, a quad-core Snapdragon 210 processor, and a 2200mAh battery. Rounding out the 530’s feature set is an 8-megapixel rear camera and 5-megapixel front-facing camera.
