As we inch closer to the iPhone 7 and its expected September debut, the leaks of Apple’s next smartphone are starting to heat up.
The latest iPhone 7 leak has been shared by Italian site Macitynet.it. It claims to show the rear shell of the iPhone 7 in four different colors: Silver, Gold, Space Gray, and Rose Gold, which are the same four colors that the iPhone 6s comes in.
The cases in this image looks similar to the one that leaked out earlier this week, with a design that has fewer antenna lines and a protruding rear camera. What’s different about the protruding rear camera on the iPhone 7, though, is that the protrusion is a sloping metal one rather than a flat ring.
While still unconfirmed, this iPhone 7 leak does line up with previous reports regarding Apple’s next flagship phone. It’s been suggested that the 2016 iPhone will have only “subtle changes” from the iPhone 6s, and I’d say that the couple of changes that I noted above qualify as “subtle.” The 2016 iPhone is also expected to lack a 3.5mm headphone jack, meaning that owners would need an adapter, Lightning headphones, or Bluetooth headphones to listen to music.
