Kyocera has become known for offering waterproof Android smartphones, and today it revealed its latest hydrophobic handset.
The Kyocera Hydro Shore will be available starting tomorrow July 16. It’ll be available for AT&T’s GoPhone prepaid service, but you’ll only be able to buy the Hydro Shore from Walmart. Pricing for the Hydro Shore will be $79.99.
The Hydro Shore is Kyocera’s latest waterproof smartphone, offering IPX5 and IPX7 certifications that’ll let if survive 30 minutes in water up to 3.28 feet (1 meter) deep. Also included is Wet Touchscreen Operation, which will let you use the Hydro Shore’s 5-inch display even when its wet.
Other features of the Kyocera Hydro Shore include a quad-core Snapdragon processor, 5-megapixel rear and 2-megapixel front cameras, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of storage, a microSD slot for adding more storage, and a 2160mAh battery. On the software side, the Hydro Shore comes equipped with Android 5.1.
