There have been a lot of rumors about what features the iPhone 7 might offer and what it may not offer. What we haven’t seen much of are leaked images of the phone itself, but today we’re getting just that.
A new photo of what may show the back of the iPhone 7 has leaked. Shared by French site Nowhereelse.fr, the image shows an Apple-branded device that looks fairly similar to the iPhone 6 and 6s, but with two noticeable tweaks. The first is that there are fewer antenna lines, giving the back a cleaner look. To compare, you can see the back of the iPhone 6s Plus below.
The second tweak on this supposed iPhone 7 is that the rear camera looks to be larger than the one found on the iPhone 6 and 6s.
Nothing is official until Apple says that it is, so keep in mind that the design shown in this leaked image is still very much a rumor. It does seem to line up with past reports regarding the iPhone 7, though, which have suggested that the 2016 iPhone will look fairly similar to the iPhone 6 and that a more substantial redesign is coming in 2017. Past reports have also suggested that the iPhone 7 will lack a 3.5mm headphone jack and that its storage options will start at 32GB. Unfortunately, today's leaked iPhone 7 photo doesn't shed any light on those rumored changes.
