If you’ve got a T-Mobile Galaxy S6 or Galaxy S6 edge, then you’ve also got a software update coming your way.
T-Mobile has announced updates for both its Samsung Galaxy S6 and Samsung Galaxy S6 edge. The updates will bump the phones to software version G920TUVU4EPF1 and G925TUVU4EPF1, respectively, and they weigh in at 247.41MB and 248.09MB.
As for what’s included, T-Mo and Samsung are pushing out the June security patches to both the GS6 and GS6 edge to help keep your phone safe. Also included is an anti-theft update and some bug fixes.
These updates will be rolling out over the air between June 27 and July 17, so if your GS6 or GS6 edge hasn’t yet updated, you should see it soon. If you’re feeling impatient, you can try to grab the update manually by connecting to Wi-Fi and going into Settings > About device > Download updates manually. You can also install Samsung’s Smart Switch on your computer and install your phone’s update that way.
