After launching on Verizon’s prepaid side last month, the Samsung Galaxy J3 is now available in a postpaid flavor, too.
The Samsung Galaxy J3 V is now available from Verizon on a postpaid device payment plan, with pricing set at $0 down and 24 monthly payments of $7.00 each. You can also snag the J3 V on a two-year contract for $39.99 after $50 mail-in rebate. Full retail price for the J3 V is $168.00.
The Galaxy J3 V is similar to the Galaxy J3 (2016) that Verizon launched on its prepaid service last month. They’ve both got 5-inch 1280x720 Super AMOLED displays, 5-megapixel rear and 2-megapixel front cameras, microSD slots for adding extra storage, and Android 6.0.1. The big difference between the two devices is the amount of storage that’s included: While the prepaid Galaxy J3 (2016) comes with 8GB of storage, the postpaid Galaxy J3 V offers 16GB.
While it’s been available on Verizon prepaid for more than a month now, the launch of the Galaxy J3 V on Verizon’s postpaid service gives those customers their own option for a new, affordable Android handset. If that’s what you’re looking for, you can get a closer look at the Galaxy J3 V right here.
