Remember the Acer Liquid Zest Plus? Sure, it’s got a strange, soapy name, but its also got a whopping 5000mAh battery pack inside of its body. And after being announced in April, Acer today revealed when its battery-packed Android phone will launch.
The Acer Liquid Zest Plus will arrive in North America and EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa) in July. Pricing will be set at $199 in North America, while buyers in the EMEA can expect to pay €199. It’ll be available in Moroccan Blue and Andes White color options.
As a refresher, the Liquid Zest Plus has a 5.5-inch display and a 13-megapixel camera with a tri-focusing system that Acer says can focus on scenes in 0.03 seconds. The front of the phone is home to a 5-megapixel camera with an 85-degree wide-angle lens for all of your selfie needs. Acer has also included DTS-HD Premium Sound tech.
Rounding out the spec list for Acer’s Liquid Zest Plus are dual SIM slots, a microSD slot, FM radio support, and Android 6.0. Oh yeah, and that massive 5000mAh battery that can be quick charged up to 50 percent in less than one hour. You can also use the Liquid Zest Plus’s USB On-The-Go support to share the Liquid Zest Plus’s battery power with another device.
