Verizon today announced some news regarding its prepaid rate plans.
Back in February, Verizon launched new prepaid plans that offered 2GB of data for $45 per month and 5GB for $60 per month, with those allotments jumping to 3GB and 6GB if you enrolled in Auto Pay. Today Verizon pinged us to say that those plans were originally limited time promos, but on May 15, they’ll become permanent.
So once May 15 rolls around, Verizon’s prepaid plan lineup will look like this:
Also of note is that while all three plans include unlimited texting to Mexico and Canada, the $60 plan is gaining unlimited calling to Mexico and Canada, too.
