Google Calendar for Android is gaining a nifty new feature for scheduling meetings.

Google Apps for Work and Edu users are now gaining a new feature in Google Calendar for Android called “Find a time.” With it, you can tap the “Find a time” button and have the app find a time for your meeting that’ll work for everyone invited. The app will look your invitees availability and the times that they usually have meetings, offer times for you to select, and let you easily see your colleagues’ schedules.

If “Find a time” doesn’t find a time that works for everyone, it’ll tell you who has conflicting meetings that can be easily rescheduled.

Again, this feature is aimed at Google Apps for Work and Edu users, because it’s designed specifically for groups in which people share their calendars with one another. For those people, “Find a time” will be a handy feature that should cut down on the time it takes to coordinate with others and schedule a meeting.

This feature is rolling out to Google Calendar for Android today, and Google says that it’s working on bringing “Find a time” to iPhone as well as easier scheduling functionality on the web.
