The Google Store is the place to go to when you want to buy Nexus phones and tablets, Chromecasts, and other Google goods. Now you can buy virtual reality gear, too.
Google Cardboard products are now live in the Google Store. There’s the basic Google Cardboard headset — which is $15 for one or $25 for two — as well as two other models. Those include the Mattel View-Master Virtual Reality Starter Pack for $29.99 and the Google Tech C1-Glass VR Viewer for $14.99.
This isn’t the first time that you’re able to buy Cardboard devices, but the launch of this dedicated section in the Google Store makes it easier for folks to view a few different models and buy directly from Google. And because Google already sells several of its other devices in its store, including Nexus and Chromecast hardware, it makes sense that Cardboard would be available in there, too.
Do you own a Google Cardboard viewer? If so, which one?
