Today’s a good day for Verizon prepaid customers. Not only are we close to the weekend, but Verizon is adding more data to its prepaid plans.
Starting today, customers that sign up for a prepaid plan for a smartphone can get 2GB of data for $45 per month or 5GB of data for $60 per month. Signing up for Auto Pay will bump those allotments up a bit to 3GB and 6GB, respectively.
It’s also worth noting that Verizon offers a $30 prepaid smartphone plan with no cellular data, meaning that you’d have to stick to Wi-Fi for your data needs. All three plans also include unlimited talk and text as well as texting to Canada and Mexico.
Before today, Verizon’s $45 and $60 prepaid plans included 1GB and 3GB of data, so today’s new plans offer a significant data bump, especially if you enroll in Auto Pay. These new plans are now available, so if you’ve been considering a new rate plan for your smartphone, hit up the Verizon link below for a closer look at these new offerings.
