Do you ever look at the reviews of an app before you download it? If you’re an Android user that does, you might notice a small tweak the next time you check out an app’s review section.
Google has tweaked the reviews section of Play Store apps, putting a thumbs up button in place so that you can help to highlight good reviews. Previously there was a smaller thumbs up/thumbs down button that’d let you give feedback on a review. Next to this new thumbs up button is an overflow menu that, if tapped, will reveal a Spam button so that you can report spammy reviews.
This tweak is a small one, but I think it helps to make the Play Store look a bit more clean. It also helps to streamline the app review feedback process, perhaps making it more likely that folks will actually leave feedback on reviews.
To see the new thumbs up button for yourself, just load up the Play Store and go to an app’s reviews section.
