For more than a month now, the OnePlus X has been available without an invite, but only on Tuesdays. Now OnePlus is broadening the X’s invite-free availability.
The OnePlus X is now available totally invite-free. That means that you can buy the OnePlus X at any time without having to hunt down an invitation. The OnePlus X is available in Onyx and Champagne color options and costs $249/£199/€269. Select countries also have access to the limited edition Ceramic OnePlus X, which costs £269/€369.
Of the three phones that OnePlus has released to date, the OnePlus X is the fastest to go invite-free, having launched on November 5 and going invite-free on January 28. To compare, the OnePlus 2 took around four months to go invite-free, while the OnePlus One took one year.
The X is OnePlus’s smaller phone, boasting a 5-inch 1920x1080 AMOLED display. It’s also packed 13-megapixel rear and 8-megapixel front cameras, a quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor, 3GB of RAM, 16GB of storage, and a microSD slot for adding even more storage. The OnePlus X is powered by a 2525mAh battery and supports LTE bands 1, 2, 4, 5, 7, and 8.
Now that it’s invite-free, are you going to consider picking up a OnePlus X?
