First T-Mobile gave a gift to its own customers in the form of three months of unlimited LTE data, then it gifted Sprint folks an extra $200 credit for jumping to Magenta. Now T-Mo is giving a pair of gifts to AT&T customers.
Starting tomorrow, December 4, AT&T customers that switch to T-Mobile can get a 128GB iPhone 6s for the price of a 16GB unit. The 128GB iPhone 6s normally sells for $849.99 and the 16GB model sells for $649.99, so that’s a savings of $200. That savings will be applied as a bill credit within 90 days.
The second gift from T-Mobile to AT&T customers is a 50 percent discount on accessories. This applies to finance agreements at a minimum of $69 and a maximum of $250, which means that your max savings with this offer will be $125. The discount applies to smartwatches, headphones, Bluetooth speakers, Fitbit fitness trackers, and more.
Finally, T-Mobile will combine these offers with Carrier Freedom, a past Un-carrier move that’ll see T-Mobile pay you up to $650 to cover your ETF and phone payments when you switch carriers. To qualify, you’ll need to trade in a phone and then buy a new one from T-Mobile.
These AT&T offers will be available in participating T-Mobile stores starting December 4, and they’ll run through December 13. Also of note is that they're available to AT&T customers as well as prepaid GoPhone folks and Cricket subscribers.
