After having its upcoming affordable smartphone leaked out by the FCC and TENAA, it looks like OnePlus is finally ready to show the phone itself.
The OnePlus X will be announced on October 29. That’s according to OnePlus’s Chinese PR site, which includes several invitations for an event on October 29. Those invites also show a large X. OnePlus’s plans become even more clear if you simply look at the URL for the blog post, which reads “OnePlus X is coming soon.”
Meanwhile, OnePlus’s Twitter account is doing some teasing of its own. A recent Tweet from the company reads “See you October 29, London” and includes both the hashtag #PowerfullyBeautiful as well as another image of a large X.
As I mentioned before, images of what is likely the OnePlus X have been leaked by the US and Chinese government agencies FCC and TENAA. In terms of specs, the OnePlus X is rumored to offer a 5-inch display and the usual array of Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, LTE, and FM radios and sensors. It may also have the same silent switch that’s found on the OnePlus 2.
