If you’ve got one of Samsung’s 2015 Galaxy flagships but you’re not totally feeling the new look of the S6 and Note 5 phones, OnePlus wants to talk to you.
OnePlus today announced Take the Edge Off, a promotion that’ll let Galaxy S6, S6 edge, S6 edge+, and Note 5 owners trade their device in and get a free OnePlus 2 in return. OnePlus won’t be keeping these Galaxy phones; instead, OnePlus will donate them to Hope Phones, a non-profit that recycles cellphones and then uses that money to fund medical programs in Africa, Asia, and Latin America.
If you’re interested in participating in Take The Edge Off, you can use the hashtag #TakeTheEdgeOff on social media and fill out this form. If OnePlus selects you, you send your phone in to them and then they’ll send you a 64GB OnePlus 2. A total of 50 participants will be chosen, and applications will close on October 18.
There’s a bit of a price difference between the 64GB OnePlus 2 and the Galaxy S6, S6 edge, S6 edge+, or Note 5, so you’re not really participating in this offer if you want good value for your Samsung phone. This promo is for folks that are interested in the OnePlus 2 and would rather make a donation than have some extra cash in their wallet. If that sounds like you, hit up the link below.
