Last month, OnePlus apologized for messing up the launch of the OnePlus 2 and for making would-be buyers of the device wait weeks for the OP2 to ship in meaningful numbers. If you’re still waiting to buy a OnePlus 2, though, you won’t have to wait much longer.
OnePlus will begin open sales of the OnePlus 2 on October 12. To ensure that everyone is able to buy a OnePlus 2 at a reasonable hour, OnePlus will hold its open sales in four different time zones:
During the open sales period for your region, you’ll be able to buy a OnePlus 2 without an invitation. Consumers in Asia, Europe, and North America will buy from OnePlus’s store, while folks in India will be able to buy from Amazon.in.
The OnePlus 2 is available in 2 variants: a $329 model that includes 16GB of storage and 3GB of RAM, and a $389 phone that’s got 64GB of storage and 4GB of RAM. This upcoming period of open sales will be the first time that the OnePlus 2 is available to everyone without an invitation, so OnePlus’s online store is sure to be busy on October 12. If you’re interested in getting an OP2, be sure to be near a computer when open sales begin in your region.
