Google’s Nexus devices typically don’t come with microSD slots, meaning that the only local storage that owners get is what’s built into the devices. Recent Nexus phones have been available with increasing amounts of built-in storage — the Nexus 4 has 8GB or 16GB, the Nexus 5 has 16GB or 32GB, and the Nexus 6 has 32GB or 64GB — and now a rumor claims that at least one of this year’s Nexuses will step things up again.

A new report says that Huawei’s Nexus phone, rumored to be called the Nexus 6P, will be available with 128GB of internal storage. If true, it’ll be the first Nexus phone to come with that much built-in storage. It’s also said that Google will offer 32GB and 64GB options.

Meanwhile, it’s suggested that LG’s Nexus phone will be sold in 16GB and 32GB capacities, which would be kind of a bummer for folks that prefer it’s (allegedly) smaller screen size.

Google is hosting an event on September 29, and it’s widely expected that we’ll see both new Nexus phones unveiled there. The Huawei phone is rumored to feature a 5.7-inch 1920x1080 display and Snapdragon 810 processor, while the LG device will reportedly have a 5.2-inch 1920x1080 screen and Snapdragon 808 chipset. What will be interesting is seeing how Google will price the two devices. Will they be in line with other flagships, like the Nexus 6 that started at $649? Or will they be affordable like the Nexus 5 that started at $349? Only 10 more days ’till we find out.
