Google’s Nexus Player is on sale at Best Buy for half of its normal asking price, meaning you can snag a unit for $49.99. That’s also a full $30 less than Google is asking for the Nexus Player from its own online shop. And if you plan to do any gaming on the Nexus Player, you can snag an ASUS Wireless Gamepad for $29.99, $10 off its regular price.
The Nexus Player runs Android TV, the version of Google’s mobile OS that’s meant for leanback usage on set-top boxes. It’s currently running Android 5.1.1 Lollipop, with an update to Android 6.0 Marshmallow coming. And at $49.99, the Nexus Player is one of the most affordable set-top box options around.
