After giving GoPhone customers Rollover Data earlier this year, AT&T is now treating its prepaid users to another feature.

Starting August 21, AT&T GoPhone customers on the service’s $60 plan will get 4GB of high-speed data use in Mexico and Canada in addition to the US. Those customers also get unlimited talk and text from the US to Mexico and Canada. 

We’ve seen several carriers adding support for usage in Mexico and Canada lately, like T-Mobile did with Mobile Without Borders and Sprint with Open World, and now AT&T’s prepaid users are getting in on the international action too. It may not be a feature that everyone uses on a regular basis, but this high-speed data usage in Mexico and Canada is a nice addition to AT&T’s top-end GoPhone plan since it costs users nothing extra.
