As we inch closer to Samsung’s August 13 event, the Galaxy Note 5 leaks keep on coming and continue to get more revealing.
Several images that show the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 powered on have found their way online. Posted by Droid-Life, the photos show a device that looks a bit like a larger Galaxy S6, sporting a metal frame and glass panels on its front and rear. One notable tweak from the GS6 is that the back of the Note 5 has curves on either side that should make it easier to hold.
Also shown in today’s leak is the Note 5’s bottom-mounted S Pen slot, headphone jack and microUSB port. The front has a home button and a pair of capacitive keys, and there are some thin side bezels on either side of the display that should also help when it comes to handling with phablet.
While there’s nothing really new revealed by today’s leak, we are getting a clear look at Samsung’s next Android flagship. The Note 5 looks good using the Galaxy S6’s design, and while the lack of a microSD slot will likely turn some folks off if it turns out to be true, anyone that can look past that should get a solid Android phablet.
What do you think of the Note 5? Are you looking forward to the device or are you turned off because of its rumored lack of a microSD slot?
