This is turning out to be a good week for Lollipop updates, because not only are the Sprint One M9 and Verizon DROID Turbo getting Android 5.1, the Verizon Moto X (2nd Gen.) and AT&T Desire Eye are getting updates as well.
First up, Verizon has updated its support documents to show that its Moto X (2nd Gen.) is getting Android 5.1. Besides bumping the device up to 5.1, the update will bring UI improvements like the ability to select Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connections from Quick Settings, new interruption controls, and notification volume control.
Meanwhile, HTC’s Mo Versi has announced that the AT&T version of the Desire Eye will start getting Lollipop tomorrow, June 30. It’s unclear what else is in the update besides Lollipop, but once the calendar flips over to Tuesday, you Desire Eye owners can begin checking for the update by going into Settings > AT&T software update > Check for updates > Update Now.
