The Alcatel OneTouch Idol 3 has been getting quite a bit of praise in its early reviews, including some from our own Cam Bunton. Soon the rest of us will be able to try the Idol 3 for ourselves.
We’ve known for a while now that the Alcatel OneTouch Idol 3 will launch on May 21 thanks to Amazon, but Alcatel OneTouch itself has confirmed that pre-order units will begin shipping to buyers tomorrow as well. That means that if you’ve already plunked down $249.99 (or less!) for an Idol 3, you could have it in your mitts in the coming days.
The Alcatel OneTouch Idol 3 is an Android 5.0 smartphone with a budget price of $249.99 without a contract. The Idol 3 doesn’t perform like a budget device, though, packing a 5.5-inch 1920x1080 display, octa-core Snapdragon 615 processor, 13-megapixel rear camera, and an 8-megapixel front-facing shooter, all of which handle most tasks admirably.
What do you think of the Idol 3? Have you pre-ordered a unit?
