A few days after the OnePlus One’s Cyanogen OS 12 update was put on hold to add a new feature, the update’s rollout has begun again.
Several users in the OnePlus forums are reporting that they’re now getting a new Cyanogen OS 12 upgrade with the build number YNG1TAS17L. The update weighs 598.4MB and includes the “Ok OnePlus” voice command as well as an updated Google Play services and some bug fixes for things like a Messaging app crash, an encryption issue that’d cause the OTA update to fail, and more.
This new Cyanogen OS 12 update is now rolling out over the air in phases, with folks already on Cyanogen OS 12 getting it now and folks on CM11S getting it starting tomorrow. You can check for it in your Settings app, but if you’d rather not wait, you can also manually flash the update. Instructions for manually flashing can be found in the OnePlus forums.
After the OnePlus One’s Cyanogen OS 12 update came out a little later than originally expected, it’s nice to see that this delay to add “Ok OnePlus” only lasted a few days. If you’ve got a OnePlus One and you install this new Cyanogen OS 12 update, be sure to share your first impressions of it with us!
