Android Wear is going to get lots of new features via a software update in the coming weeks, but Google isn’t stopping there with new features for its wearable platform.
Starting today, Android Wear owners can view their Google Keep notes from their smartwatch. All you have to do is launch Keep or say “Ok Google, open Keep.” You can also take a note on your wrist by saying “Ok Google, take a note.” This new Google Keep update also allows you to add reminders to notes from your Android Wear smartwatch, and it adds support for recurring reminders, too.
Google Keep is good for jotting down random notes and ideas, but you can also use it as a list app for things like grocery lists. Adding Google Keep support to Android Wear means that you can access those lists directly from your wrist, meaning that you don’t have to dig your phone out of your pocket when you’re carrying groceries or a basket or pushing a cart.
